Prestigious private School leads by example with a fresh approach to communications

With a new Headmistress at the helm and a desire to marry the school’s impressive 150 year history with a bright new future, the team at St George’s looked to Eclipse to redefine and develop their brand.  Working closely with their marketing team, a campaign was initiated focussing on the 3 pillars which form the foundations of the School’s new philosophy.

A broad range of internal and external communications were developed to ensure parents, students, teachers and prospective students understood how the School’s past enriched (but did not command) its present or future.  Traditional prospectus brochures were replaced with forward-thinking annual reports, mid-term communications, in school wall murals and event materials, opening fresh lines of communication and transparency.

The combined team efforts resulted in a significant increase in student admissions the following academic year, requiring an additional class in order to accommodate the increase in first year students at the College.  The team continue to progress, introducing innovative virtual school tours during the COVID-19 pandemic and were shortlisted as finalists for the 2019 TES Marketing Campaign of the Year award.
